The Regional Conference on Hajj Best Practices 2016

Formation of large and dense crowds is the major issue during Hajj. This gives rise to safety concerns such as emergency evacuation, health issues in relation to communicable disease and overall management of Hajj.

Hajj Research Cluster, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is pleased to invite you to participate in the "Regional Conference on Hajj Best Practices 2016" to be held on 6 th and 7 th April 2016 in The Gurney Resort Hotel and Residence, Penang.

We believe that this seminar is a great opportunity for academics, researchers, policy-makers, reform experts, corporate leaders, and representatives of governmental/non-governmental organizations and Hajj pilgrims agencies to present their work related to Hajj Research. This includes all valuable ideas for the future management of Hajj and pilgrims from the
Asian Countries. The discussion in this seminar will hopefully propose solutions to the existing problems and spark new ideas related to Hajj best practices to contribute to the advancement of the overall Hajj management.
